Solution Architect Collaboration (m/f/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. The CS Collaboration (CDI) organization unit is responsible for BWI's projects and projects for the ''Collaboration & Digital Administration, Information Management (CDI)'' cluster of the Bundeswehr. The CS Collaboration aims to plan and launch collaboration and groupware technologies for the Bundeswehr. Among other things, the projects Groupware, DokMBw 2.AS, LI13 (NuKomBw 2.0), LI14 (VCSBw Höher VS-NfD) are processed. We are looking for Solution Architects for Collaboration and Applications 2 (e.g. Digital Headboard, AlarmsBw, Legal Support).

Responsibility for the design of IT solutions and the development of solutions to the feasibility of the customer, the project and the service provider

Technical advice of the projects and customers in cooperation with the contributing units in the field of collaboration

Creating and implementing technical and cross-disciplinary IT concepts, documentation and IT architectures as part of the BWI regulations

Close customer and user interaction including consulting the key stakeholders

Professional cooperation in performance descriptions and coordination with IT security

Complete university studies or comparable vocational training in the field of IT i.V.m. at least 6 years of relevant professional experience in Solution Development as an enterprise, solution or IT architect or as a technical IT consultant

Multiannual experience in software development, application management and/or software-based operation of business applications, in particular in safety-sensitive industries

Knowledge in the field of classical infrastructure - and cloud platforms as well as at least one of the following technology fields: IT security, identity & access management, data center architectures, virtualization platforms, legacy client/server structures

Expertise in the application of IT-Grundschutz Compendium and experience in requirements engineering/management (e.g. IREB)

High result orientation, decision-making, strategic thinking combined with a pronounced customer orientation

German language skills in word and writing
