Senior Product Owner - Tax Consulting (m/f/d)

You take product responsibility for a central area of our tax advisor ecosystem. Together with your cross-functional team, you will develop solutions for automated data exchange between Lexware Office and tax advisor systems (e.g. DATEV). You work closely with Engineering, UX, Marketing and other product teams. Your decisions directly influence how hundreds of thousands of companies work with their tax credits. You work with the other Product Owners: inside and teams of the area, to ensure that the overall experience is consistent across domain and team boundaries in the sense of an end-to-end user journey and fits our strategy Together with the cross-functional team, you have a close look at the “4 Big Risks” of product development (Value Risk, Usability Risk, Feasibility Risk, Business Viability Risk). You prioritize and balance the backlog in close cooperation with the team so that you get closer to the product vision as quickly as possible

You already validate new ideas before the actual development, plan and control the rollout, analyze feedback and arrange with our marketing specialist:inside for a user-oriented accompanying communication across all touchpoints

You have several years of experience as a product owner or in product management — and you know how to manage a product not only, but advance it

At the same time, you were responsible for the development of a B2B SaaS product, ideally with interfaces, data flows or integrations between different systems

You are actively using AI tools in your work, along with your team, driving AI accounting and data exchange for our customers: making them noticeably better — and supporting the development team not only to use AI themselves, but to integrate them directly into features and processes

You don't have to be a tax expert. But you go to the depth — for booking logic, DATEV interfaces or tax advisor workflows — until you really understand the problem

You also work closely with developers: inside, you don't have to code, but you understand APIs, data models and technical dependencies well enough to make meaningful decisions

You have very good German skills (C2 level) for direct interaction with our customers:inside & tax chancellors. And also in the interdisciplinary team context you communicate excellently and translate between different disciplines and altitudes
