The STRABAG Property and Facility Services Group (STRABAG PFS) is an integrated building solutions provider, leading in digital and technical competence. Our building solutions include technical facility management, infrastructure facility management, building technology, property management and special industrial services. Course contents: The dual study in cooperation with the University of Economics and Law Berlin (HWR Berlin) is divided into 6 practical and theoretical semesters; the theoretical phases at HWR Berlin alternate with the practical phases in the company. The focus of the Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) degree program Economic Engineering/Facility Management consists of basic mathematics-nature science subjects as well as the industry-related content, for example construction engineering, technical building equipment, energy management and digitalization in facility management. During the practical phase, the various areas of the property management of our clients will run through. The focus is on the technical real estate management with object management, budget planning, economic plan, monitoring, reporting, maintenance strategy, sustainable building and sanitation, control and monitoring of the facility management service provider in the objects, regular dates with customers, tenants, service providers etc. For our clients, which are investors in the financial and insurance sector, we mostly provide commercial property. Construction and building technology, construction project management, energy management, sustainability management, digitalization in planning, operation and use of buildings play an important role here. After completion of the successful study, a takeover is expected, with a separate portfolio being supervised. Duration of study: 3 years
