Head of Unit - Regulatory Legal - Data & Indices, Post-Trading (m/f/d)

In your new role, you will lead an international team focused on regulatory advice from Clearstream Group. As a global player in the post-trade industry, Clearstream offers a comprehensive range of innovative solutions for the issue, settlement, custody of securities as well as collateral, credit and liquidity management. For the fund industry, Clearstream delivers state-of-the-art solutions to standardize fund execution and increase the efficiency and security in the investment fund sector. With your team, you support the various business areas of the Clearstream Group as well as the colleagues of the Legal Department in Germany and abroad and help to clarify and comply with regulatory requirements, partly in close coordination with the relevant supervisory authorities. In addition to the supervisory law relevant to central depositors and banks, the consultation by your team also affects the regulation of Crypto Assets, Distributed Ledger and Artificial Intelligence. You work with your team closely with other teams in Group Legal and get a broad insight into different topics.

You have successfully completed both legal Examina You have gathered first leadership experience and are characterized by a pronounced communication skills and team spirit You have several years of professional experience in the field of supervisory law and financial market regulation You are interested in the capital market and in economic contexts, also in “new” technologies such as Distributed Ledger and Crypto Assets You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
