You take courses with enthusiasm – also in the basic field – of the offered Bachelor and Master's degree courses of the Department of Information Technology. You master the German and English language in word and writing and conduct courses in both languages. You implement innovative ideas for application-related research and development tasks and demonstrate the harmony of research and teaching. You actively participate in the teaching and research structure of the Department of Information Technology and thus contribute to regional and supraregional profiling. You maintain contacts with companies, specialist groups and other organisations and enter into cooperation with them. You are involved in academic self-government and in bodies of the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund.

You have a professional university degree in the field of information technology, embedded systems, electrical engineering, technical informatics or closely related fields. You have a relevant, above-average promotion. You bring your application-related knowledge and experience from at least one of the following disciplines in teaching and research:Hardware and software architectures of information technology Software and architecture development for embedded systems and real-time systems Artificial intelligence for embedded systems

You are experienced in the application and processing as well as in the management of research and development projects.
