As a central point of contact for all third-party issues, the third-party funding department advises in particular on financial aspects of projects. We are looking for you:

You accompany third-party funding projects administratively and financially over the entire project life cycle – from application to ongoing project support to project completion. You advise scientists and faculty experts on issues of project management, in particular on budgets, medium-term use, evidence, reports and funding requirements. You examine, structure and coordinate project-related information as well as documents and cooperate with internal coordination, testing and approval processes. You support the further development of processes, work aids and standards in the third-party sector and help to make processes for knowledge and administration transparent and reliable. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, you will also take over extensive coordinating tasks, in particular with regard to more complex national and European funding formats.

You have completed a bachelor's or specialized higher education with a single institution or a comparable completed vocational training with a subject-specific supplementary qualification. Experience in the financial management and/or reporting of third-party projects, preferably at a university or an extra-university research institution is desirable. Ideally, you have already been consulted. Knowledge of European funding programmes is of advantage or the ability to work deeper into this area. You have a safe handling of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and database systems. You work in a structured, careful and self-sponsored manner and keep an overview even in the case of more complex conditions, deadlines and voting processes. You provide a strong communication and team capability and service orientation and are reliable. English and German knowledge in word and writing complete your profile.
