Master (m|w|d) Job ID 76504 | Location Kiel Your duties In your role you take over the technical and disciplinary management of the area of wheel set production. The responsibility for the time, cost and quality execution of all works (including ECM conformity) is yours. You coordinate the commissioned work on wheel sets and components according to work documents taking into account the HSE regulations. The operational planning and control of the required human and material resources is in your hands. Ensuring skills development as well as active coaching of employees also counts in your area of responsibility as well as the continuous improvement of processes, working methods and process quality. The close coordination with adjacent areas such as workshop, engineering and quality completes your task field. Your profile You have completed vocational training in the field of metal, mechatronics, vehicle technology and an additional training for master craftsmen or industry. Multiannual professional experience, ideally in the railway industry or industrial maintenance, will bring you along. Experiences in the field of railway technology service, ideally with direct reference to wheel set production, are advantageous. Knowledge of ECM requirements and HSE regulations are desirable. Your handling of MS Office and SAP is safe. We require very good knowledge of German in word and writing; English knowledge is advantageous. At best, you already had contact points with employee management and bring a pronounced communication strength, enforcement ability and a focus on employee development.
