There is close cooperation with the other disciplines in the tumor center Heilbronn-Franken, its affiliated organ centers (Brust, Prostate, Lungen-, Darm-, Pankreas-, Magen-, Kidney-, Skin-, and Head-Hals Tumor Center, Center for Hematological Neoplasias, Viszeral-oncological, Gynecological and Tumor-Base The tumor centre and all twelve organ centres are certified by the German Cancer Society. Our stationary patients and radiochemotherapy are supervised by colleagues in the medical oncology of our house. In November 2024, the department purchased the generously designed new building of the clinic and is completely re-equipped with two new linear accelerators (Ethos and Truebeam, Varian) in the high-end area. In addition to stereotactic irradiations with the Hyperarc system (variant) and brandless, surface-controlled treatments (SGRT, VisionRT), AI-based, online adaptive irradiations (oART) can be carried out on the ethos system with hypersight imaging. The radiotherapy is equipped with its own planning CT (Toshiba) and has access to PET-CT and MRT. A 24-channel HDR Brachytherapy unit (variant) with BrachyVision planning system (variant) is used for brachytherapy. The Clinic for Radiation Therapy and the MVZ are additionally certified according to ISO 9001.
