Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d)

Management and implementation of improvement projects to increase efficiency, volume increase, cost reduction, safety improvement and optimisation of product quality (from concept to implementation). Analysis and optimization of production processes by applying sound knowledge on food production plants and production processes. Creation and updating of SOPs (standard work instructions), creation and submission of regulatory documentation and communication of project results to all relevant stakeholders (in English). Presentation of project results and proposals for technical solutions based on comprehensive benchmarking, root analysis, data analysis and proven engineering principles. Close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams (Production, Logistics, Quality, Health & Safety, Maintenance & Facilities) to successfully implement project goals.

A Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field. Multiannual professional experience in food production. Multiannual professional experience in the selection, analysis and optimization of production facilities to make the right decisions for cost and efficiency enhancement. Multiannual professional experience in engineering and project management within a production environment, focusing on continuous improvement and process optimization. Lean Six Sigma certification as well as experience with Kaizen are of advantage. Practical experience in the production environment, including the handling and maintenance of production facilities and direct cooperation with operators. Flowing German and English knowledge (C1 level) to communicate both locally and internationally effectively and to create technical documentation.
