Advanced Expert Controlling - Schwerpunkt ESG (m/w/d)

In order to meet the regulatory requirements of CSRD and to support company-wide sustainability management, we are building an ESG controlling in the area of Sustainable Finance. You have the chance to be there from the start and to shape the future of sustainability management at OBI. Your goal will be to ensure reliable, transparent and audit-proof ESG data control for all OBI units worldwide – as a basis for effective ESG control and CSRD-compliant reporting.

Construction: Significant participation in the strategic structure and the continuous development of a company-wide ESG metric number system Definition: Close coordination with our international companies for definition, detection, validation and plausibility of relevant ESG-KPIs Integration: Integration of ESG-relevant key figures into the existing controlling and financial reporting landscape to support strategic corporate governance Analysis: Independent implementation of deviation analyses, forecasts and scenario calculations with regard to ESG objectives and derivation of management recommendations Reporting: Conception, technical implementation and technical control of a modern ESG reporting using interactive dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Excel) Data management: Ensuring structured consolidation, analysis and validation of quantitative ESG data to support internal and external reporting (e.g. according to CSRD) Quality Assurance: Establishing effective audit and governance structures to ensure the ESG data quality in close coordination with all participating departments

Studies: Successfully completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance / Controlling or a comparable qualification Professional experience: At least 3-5 years of professional experience in ESG controlling or classical controlling IT knowledge: Very good MS Office skills and ideally experience with BI tools such as Power BI or SAP Languages: Very good knowledge of German and English (min. C1) for communication in our international environment Operation: Embossed Analytical Thinking Power as well as a Structured, Careful and Responsible Working Motivation: A great passion for sustainability and digitalization Personality: A hand-on mentality and communication strength that makes cooperation with you enriching for all colleagues
