Business Continuity Manager / Crisis Manager (m/f/d)

You develop, implement and maintain a business continuity management system (BCMS) according to relevant standards and legal requirements. In doing so, conduct business impact analyses (BIA) and risk analyses to identify critical business processes and potential vulnerabilities. You develop emergency and recovery plans (BCP) together with the specialist departments and in close coordination with the IT Service Continuity Management. You plan, organize and conduct regular emergency and crisis management exercises. For the crisis, develop and maintain effective communication and escalation channels to ensure rapid information distribution. You are the first contact person in the house for the topics Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management.

You have a degree in economics, computer science, security management or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience in business continuity management (or crisis/risk management, ideally in a regulated industry). You are familiar with the common BCM standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 22301, BSI 200-4); Ideally, this also applies to regulatory requirements of the insurance industry (e.g. BaFin provisions, DORA). You have strong communicative skills and persuasive power to understand complex issues and to reach stakeholders at all levels. Finally, you have an analytical mindset and a structured, independent way of working.
