Operational Manager Sports Centre (m/f/d)

The Siegmund Sportpark stands for modern sports and leisure culture at the highest level. As a versatile facility in the Augsburger Raum, we combine a professional fitness club with Quick® devices, an extensive spa and sauna area as well as a broad course program under one roof. The Siegmund Sportpark is home to the Hessing Kangaroos (2nd Basketball Bundesliga), cooperation partner of the Post SV Augsburg and reliable host for clubs, companies, schools and private groups. In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a strong leader who controls and develops the daily operation of our facility independently.

Operation & Facility Total responsibility for the smooth daily operation of the sports facility Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene and operational safety of all areas (fitness, wellness, hall area) Control and coordination of external service providers (cleaning, master services, maintenance) Monitoring and maintenance of technical infrastructure and equipment Ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene rules Personal & organization Professional and disciplinary leadership of the operative team Service and operational planning as well as holiday planning Coordination of course and training plans in coordination with the trainer team Event management: Planning and implementation of sports and corporate events Interface to associations, cooperation partners and tenants Creation and control of occupancy, space and booking plans Continuous development of operations and quality standards Direct reporting line to management and regular reporting

Mustard Complete training or studies in the field of sports/free time management, business management, facility management or comparable Multiannual professional experience in the operational management of a sports, leisure or event Evidence of leadership and team competence Structured, independent working with high quality awareness Very good knowledge of German in word and writing Advantage Knowledge of occupational safety, hygiene and operating regulations Experience in handling booking and management software Affinity for latitude and performance sports Experience in cooperation with associations and institutional partners English knowledge
