IT Support Engineer I, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) - Fixed Field (m/w/d)

IT Support Engineers in the Amazon operations teams do not work in the office as usual – rather they take care of the various IT systems that form the heart of our logistics locations. As an IT technician, you work at one of our logistics locations together with colleagues, remote support teams and the company to perform essential IT support functions. In this role, you use the latest technology in an environment that promotes mentoring and career development opportunities. Key job responsibilities

• Supporting local users:inside by installing, support with and troubleshooting for IT infrastructure, end user devices and applications.
• Management of support tickets, provision of first and second line support.
• Proactive maintenance to maximize the availability of the entire IT equipment.
• Implementation of projects and innovations in cooperation with other colleagues in the IT service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A successfully completed study in the field of computer science or comparable training or proven comparable knowledge
• Experience in the use of hardware and software, including Microsoft Office or Windows, in an IT role
• Experience with work in IT support or IT Asset Management and Purchase
• experience in communication with different stakeholders, including colleagues and executives
• B1+ German knowledge in word and writing
• Valid driving licence PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred qualifications
• Completion in computer science or another technical field
• Network infrastructure experience
• Experience in improving existing processes and processes
• Experience in creating clear, precise documentation
