Number: MER0003WIU Within the department Algorithms & Application (RD/EBA) of the department for battery systems, a working student office for the test automation of high-voltage batteries in the vehicle network is to be occupied. Their tasks include the tuning and design of automated test cases, the programming of test automation, the function check on current development vehicles, and the prototypical construction of test hardware required for this purpose. You work directly in the field with a highly motivated team. In addition to our core activities of the validation of SW and HW, we have set ourselves the goal of expanding test automation with a focus on efficiency enhancement also at vehicle level.

These challenges include: You will vote once a week on the current progress, the technical possibilities and the upcoming tasks at the core team's regular date.

You can independently program the CAPL scripts for automated testing in Vector CANoe using the existing test specification

You test their approaches and results directly on our development vehicles

You are a contact person for users in questions about test automation

You document the current status and their work results

The activity can begin from mid-March 2026.

Course of study in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Vehicle Technology or Similar Degrees Programming skills (preferably C, C++ or CAPL) Safe handling of MS Office Basic vehicle approval driving licence class B Preferred basic knowledge of control units, their networking, bus systems and diagnosis in the automotive sector Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Analytical thinking and strategic working Communication Commitment and team skills Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with an indication of the semester and proof of the regular study period.
