As an IT GSC Engineer (focus on databases) (w/m/d), you are part of a 10-person team that supports our IT landscape in the distribution network. Your mission is to be friendly and always informed first contact for internal users: to be internal, to accept disturbances and enquiries about the energy systems of the network community, to document, to solve them or to forward them to the technical product teams. In addition to supporting users, regular training on internal systems and coordination with other teams will determine the working day. In particular, time-critical IT ruptures require a high degree of responsibility and the ability to maintain a cool head, objectively assess the situation and work hard on a solution. Participation in a structured readiness to ensure the 24/7 operation of our systems is a mandatory requirement and is remunerated separately. You will become a specialist for our eCount application in the field of Oracle databases. You can work from home or in the office, you'll get laptop and service phone. Especially during the incorporation phase, there will be more frequent on-site meetings, then about one to twice a month team meetings.

Completed IT training/studies with corresponding professional experience You bring a broad technical understanding, joy in troubleshooting and a high degree of self-initiative. You have deep knowledge in the Oracle database environment, e.g. SQL, PL/SQL, SQL tuning (analyze execution plans, customize SQL profiles, etc.) Ideally, you have experience in the area of Metering Solutions (Robotron eCount) You have experience in processing 1st and 2nd Level Support requests. You develop PowerAutomate scripts to automate processes. A pronounced customer and service orientation is just as important to your strengths as your independent and careful operation. You should easily get in touch with people and build personal networks. We require empathy, sense of responsibility and resilience. You have knowledge of German (mind. C1) and very good English (mind. B2 level) and are happy to work with international teams
