Design and implementation of system and control concepts for the in-house system P@ck-Control (industrial control technology based on real-time Linux) Implementation and integration of different software modules (e.g. real-time data interfaces, PLC interfaces, HMI, etc.) in the overall system Hardware and software validation as part of the system concept (performance, real-time behavior, interface definitions, etc.) Optional: Extension and maintenance of the associated P@ck control toolchain - from small scripts to more extensive engineering tools Arrangement with other departments (e.g. construction, service) to accommodate requirements from user perspective

Complete study in the field of technical computer science, electrical engineering (ideally with a focus on computer science/automatization), or comparable qualification Professional experience in a comparable position of advantage - dedicated beginners: inside are also welcome Practical experience and good knowledge in handling C/C++ and Linux, ideally in real-time context Secure handling of common IDEs (e.g.: vscode, CLion, qtCreator), versioning tools (e.g.: git, svn), RM tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub), and the usual office tools Experiences in the industrial automation environment (ideally on the rexroth ctrlX platform) and in control development desirable Advantageous knowledge of PLC programming (e.g. codesys) Experience in handling CI/CD systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins) Teamability, flexibility, communication strength and independent working Good English knowledge of word and writing
