Our client is an owner-managed group of companies from the manufacturing industry with about 450 employees. Our customer operates internationally and maintains several locations. The company is one of the market leaders of its segment. We are looking for a challenging task as part of the staff consultation Account Manager (m/w/d) You take over a professionally demanding position in corporate accounting with direct connection to the CFO. Their field of responsibility ranges from the HGB individual conclusion to the participation in the consolidated financial statements to the active design of digitization topics. Compilation of annual accounts of several group companies by HGB Active participation in the consolidated financial statements including the associated consolidation accounting Compilation of the tax balance sheet and the transfer account and monitoring of tax returns in close coordination with the external tax advisor Preparation and implementation of the monthly accounts Own-responsible accounting and ongoing maintenance of the accounts Professional support of foreign companies in accounting issues Further development of booking processes and accounting policies Driver role in automation and digitalization in accounting from power-Query solutions to AI-based applications Interface to audit, tax consultancy and banks as well as close cooperation with the adjacent departments

Completed commercial training or study of economics with a focus on accounting/finance / further training as a balance sheet holder or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in accounting, ideally in a manufacturing medium-sized industrial company, as an alternative to tax consulting Secure HGB knowledge and well-founded experience in completion routine in account voting and booking logic as well as good understanding of tax issues Experience with consolidated financial statements and knowledge in Lucanet and/or ERP InforLN - of advantage Very good Excel knowledge; Openness for modern tools (e.g. Power Query, automations, AI applications) Conversation-proof English Analytical thinkability, structured and self-responsive working with hands-on mentality
