Doctors in the mobile team for homeless drug users

vista is a strong association for integrative social and therapeutic work with the focus on substance consumption. Around 240 employees are keen to identify new perspectives for people with substance-related problems and their relatives. You can find us at 15 locations throughout Berlin. We offer help-seekers advice, therapy, support in substitution, housing, assistance for families, low-swelling assistance and measures for integration and employment. vista is an innovative and large carrier. The employees do high-quality and accepting drug work. At our locations we are looking for dedicated support – also professional beginners and experienced professionals without professional experience in the field of work.

For our new project on mobile healthcare for homeless drug users in Berlin, we are looking for doctors on a fee basis.

About the project: The mobile medical team is part of a wide range of services to improve the health care of homeless drug users. The aim is to minimize health risks and to enable people to provide medical care. The work is carried out in a looking and low-swelling manner in close cooperation with colleagues in the looking social work. Medical advice and care takes place directly on site – in places where the target group is staying. The place has a flexible number of hours per week.

Your duties include: Basic medical care for non-resident drug users in the context of the looking work Enlightenment and minimisation of health risks Treatment of acute and chronic diseases Documentation and, if necessary, transfer to further supply offers Interdisciplinary cooperation with social workers Designing preventive offers on topics such as crack, drug emergencies and substitution
