Physicist as consultant for research funding in the field of fusion research

You are part of our team for the implementation of key technology projects with a focus on fusion research. You plan and organize national and international research funding measures and implement them. You advise and accompany supporters and applicants. The assessment, assessment and support of research and development projects are also your tasks. You analyze and evaluate new trends in research and development as well as their application perspectives. You advise our clients on strategic, conceptual and technical issues and support them in the formulation of technical and political opinions. You support research funding (e.g. events, science communication, public relations).

You have successfully completed a Master's degree and a PhD in physics. You have deeper knowledge in the field of fusion research and/or directly adjacent physical subareas. You have first experiences from the business and/or research environment and are interested in innovation and research policy. You have already gained first experience in working together in interdisciplinary teams and stand for an independent working. You have a secure appearance towards stakeholders of different levels, as well as an understandable and precise way of communication at eye level. You have the pleasure of presenting complex facts in writing and in a personal conversation. Very good knowledge of German (C2) and knowledge of English at Level C1 are essential due to work in national, European and international networks.
