For our logistics center in Achim (near Bremen) we are looking as soon as possible: Electronics, Electricians, Mechatronics, Maintenance Engineers, Instandhalter (all genders) The maintenance and maintenance team (Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team or RME team) is of fundamental importance for our operation – ensuring that our technical systems and systems work continuously. As a maintenance engineer, you are responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of our technical equipment and production facilities. You help to ensure the highest safety standards in occupational safety and prevent machine downtime. Our technical team ensures high availability of technical equipment and improves the quality of our equipment. A day in the life As a maintenance engineer, you are on site in one of our logistics centers to respond quickly to technical problems. You carry out a number of planned preventive maintenance measures on devices to ensure their safe operation. In addition, as a maintenance engineer, you are looking for troubles and failures. You investigate the causes, find solutions as soon as possible and apply them. You also make suggestions for long-term improvements. In cooperation with senior colleagues, you perform daily maintenance tasks and communicate with service providers if you need external expertise. You work in rotating layers so that we can support our locations around the clock and ensure that Amazon can continue to deliver at the pace we are known for. About the team We work in filling centers that form the heart of Amazon's dynamic operating network. Our full-filment centers are sometimes also referred to as the “first mile” (First Mile) – here most Amazon packages start their shipping route. Complete technical training recognised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) or Chamber of Crafts (HWK). Alternatively, proof of a successfully completed university degree in the engineering field (machine engineering / electrical engineering or art related) of a German university or recognized foreign university degrees (BA, B. Sc., MA, M. Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
