As a Data Product & AI Engineer (m/w/d), you will create the basis for data-driven decisions in the marketing of the future. Your goal: away from fragmented data, manual evaluations and different KPI definitions – towards clearly structured, standardized and AI-usable data products. Together with analytics, controlling and technology teams, you create a platform that consistently models customer journeys across the system and uses data directly for dashboards, APIs and AI applications. You develop modern data products and data models for marketing, customer-journey and behavioral data. You structure data so that it can be used directly for dashboards, APIs, automations and AI systems. You unify KPI logic and make sure teams work on a consistent database. You work at the interface between Data Engineering, Analytics and AI applications. You actively use modern AI Coding Assistants like Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools in everyday development. You develop existing data structures in a pragmatic way and help to permanently unify fragmented systems. You work closely with our platform, streaming and governance teams. You bring your own ideas and actively shape technical solutions. Hybrid work with common office days in Bonn (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
You have already implemented productive projects in the field of Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Backend or AI-close systems. You can understand complex data structures and model them appropriately. Good SQL and Python skills. You work pragmatic, solution-oriented and think beyond pure implementation. You are interested in modern AI workflows and are using AI Coding Assistants productively. Understanding software quality, wartability and clean technical solutions. You can communicate technical topics in a comprehensible manner and work with different disciplines.
