What you do with us:

Take the key role as Data Product Manager (m/w/d) and shape the future of our data products in a modern and collaborative (cloud) environment. You implement the Data Mesh architecture with state-of-the-art technologies and contribute significantly to maximising the value of our data. Your expertise enables the development and optimization of analytical use cases, the improvement of processes and the further development of our AI solutions – all with the aim of shaping our data products to the future.

Take responsibility: You continuously define and develop data products and significantly shape the data map within your data domain. Designing cooperation: In close coordination with the Product Data Owns, you coordinate cross-dominal dependencies and ensure a smooth interaction of the data products. Strategically prioritize: Together with the Data Product Owner, you are responsible for the prioritization of the data product backlog and contribute to the consistent alignment of business goals. Actively live governance: You actively engage in the Data Governance Council, coordinate the introduction and implementation of relevant policies and promote sharing best practices within the data domain. Take leadership: You delegiert Tasks on Data Stewards and Product Owner Data, control the governance and collaboration processes in the data catalog and drive the continuous optimization. Developing innovation: You actively develop our Data Mesh concept and take responsibility for data quality, transparency and reusability along the Data Mesh architecture.

What convinces us:

First of all, your personality: your communication strength, joy of decision and your sense of complex data dependencies – coupled with a high team orientation as well as the ability to control and convince different stakeholders. Your well-founded professional knowledge of data and their business use as well as your profound understanding of data governance, data quality, modeling and transformation. You have at least four years of professional experience in the data field as well as a completed study with reference to data, IT or business – e.g. business informatics, data science or related fields. Your very good technical understanding of modern data architectures – especially in the context of cloud platforms, databases and tools such as ideally GCP, Snowflake, dbt and Collibra. Your practical experience in the application and development of data catalogs as well as your familiar handling of the roles, guidelines and processes within the framework of REWE Data Governance. Ideally, you already bring practical experience in building or working in a Data Mesh environment and have fun to actively shape modern data architectures.
