As Managing Director (m/w/d), you are managing “Your” GASTRO wholesale market as a leading player with high responsibility and live with your team the idea of the best customer orientation. Staff management: You motivate your team (approx. 20-40 employees) in the large market and support the team in personal and professional development Organization of work processes: You control the work processes in the individual departments and develop process optimization measures Business success: Through your experience and your safe handling of business performance indicators, you will immediately ensure the success of the market you are leading Developing appropriate marketing strategies: you analyze and control marketing strategies and develop them further Strategic Partners: You act as a strategic partner of the corporate headquarters and are responsible for networking with the other METRO and METRO Gastro markets within your region Representation: You represent your market at major events and important customers

Leadership experience: You already bring leadership experience in the trade context, have joy in dealing with people and have a cooperative and motivating leadership style Experience and knowledge: You have completed commercial training or completed business studies, as well as experience as e.g. market manager (m/w/d), house manager (m/w/d), branch manager (m/w/d) or department manager sales (m/w/d) Customer orientation: As a partner you support our customers from the gastronomy and hotel industry with passion to achieve their goals of success Expertise: We look forward to your expertise in handling food and your affinity for the topics freshness, enjoyment and cooking Communication strength: You have a sales talent and the creation of networks counts for you as a small one Entrepreneurial thinking: Your strategic vision and your sense of trends and innovation drive the success of your market forward
