You are responsible for the Data Analytics unit, strategically redirecting it and setting decisive steps towards the cloud. You develop target images, structures and working methods and create clear guidelines for data architecture, processes, governance and standards. This allows you to set the framework for modern analysis and reporting applications throughout the house and set the agenda for a data-driven savings bank.

Ensure data quality and regulatory systems: optimizing data quality, protection and regulatory compliance in daily operation – in coordination with IT and specialist areas. Creating a framework: definition, documentation and communication of standards, processes and architectures in an interdisciplinary environment Support areas: Technical and technical support of the departments in the implementation of data-driven applications and the promotion of data-driven working methods

That's what you bring:

Qualification: Completed master's degree in (economic) computer science, data science, engineering or a comparable subject or Qualification and multiannual professional experience in data processing and data integration (ideally in the financial or savings banks/bank sector) In-depth knowledge and practical experience: multi-year practical management experience in the environment of data analytics, business intelligence or data science as well as a thorough understanding of data-driven control in the savings banks and banks environment, including relevant processes Technological competence: broad technical understanding in BI tools (e.g. Power BI), databases (Oracle, SQL), programming languages (e.g. Python, R) and modern cloud platforms (e.g. Azure), basic knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and their frameworks (e.g. dbt, Airflow) Regulatorics: Requirements and provisions in the financial sector (e.g. DORA, BAIT, MaRisk, GDPR) - you know them and know how to manage them Communication and interface competence: Very good communication skills, secure stakeholder management and the ability to combine technical and professional perspectives - as well as good German skills (from C1 level).
