They work in a team of strategic and operational buyers who jointly manage the purchase of steel and steel assemblies You take over the strategic tasks for a product group with about € 30 million purchase volumes per year Your main tasks are: negotiation of price agreements and tenders Distribution of custom-made modules to external suppliers Escalation of malfunctions of the operating daily business Accompanying projects to reduce costs and shift assemblies to other suppliers

They work internationally with the eight works of the WIRTGEN GROUP and with our parent company John Deere

Complete technical studies (economic engineering/ mechanical engineering or comparable) or vocational training with relevant professional experience Experience in technical purchasing Technical knowledge about the production of steel assemblies desirable (welding technology, mechanical processing, surface technology) Very good analytical/problem-solving skills and a structured way of thinking English language skills Entrepreneurial thinking and enforcement
