This is expected Our Command Center team ensures smooth IT operation of our highly critical applications and infrastructures and protects the KfW effectively from cyber attacks. The 24/7 monitoring, detection of faults and coordination for troubleshooting are the responsibility of the Command Center. We are looking for reinforcement in our team for this exciting task. As part of the SOC, you take over the monitoring and tracking of alarms from security monitoring and act as the first escalation stage to react quickly and efficiently in case of malfunctions. A close cooperation with Incident Management, Problem Management and 2nd Level Support is of course for you to ensure optimal communication and problem solution. You monitor the central SIEM consoles in MissionControl and use a modern TechStack consisting of Splunk ES and SOAR as well as Microsoft Defender for analysis and evaluation. The central event management of the applications and infrastructure components is done by ServiceNow - ITOM Health. The documentation of Incidents and Changes in the ticket system (currently ServiceNow) is one of your responsible tasks as well as the support of IT Service Management processes.

This will bring you You convince us with a completed IT training (possibly a comparable qualification) and bring several years of professional experience in the field of SOC 1st Level Analysis. Their willingness to work in shiftwork (24/7) is a prerequisite for this position. Their diverse expertise includes basic knowledge in IT processes and ITILv4 as well as knowledge in Windows server operating systems, batch processing, Unix/Linux and databases such as DB2, Oracle and SQL servers. In addition, you will bring experiences in the splunk research and security analysis. A Blue Team Level 1 certification is desirable. You are characterized by a high degree of analytical capacity, precision and reliability. Even in emergency situations, you are extremely resilient and keep an overview. You communicate in writing and orally convincing in our business language German and bring good knowledge of English. Your fun in problem solving and teamwork complete your profile.
