As a family-run high-tech company with around 19,000 employees at 71 locations worldwide, we are looking for forwarders with unconventional ideas and deeds. We live a culture of team spirit and mutual trust – the ideal framework for daring to dare new things and questioning existing ones. Our technologies inspire people to develop and build imaginable. Whether lasers, machine tools, EUV or electronics – TRUMPF creates technological worlds for future generations. Are you ready for new challenges? Your new task The holistic responsibility for release management across the entire value chain is your responsibility - from strategic roadmap planning to release design and sprint coordination to go-live support and post-go live stabilization. Quality, timeliness and risk mitigation are your key principles. Develop the global release management strategy for the most important system landscapes at TRUMPF

The TRUMPF release ecosystem shapes you through clearly defined governance, processes and policies. From Release Frequency Strategies (e.g. Continuous Delivery vs. Big Bang) to Release Categories (Feature, Hotfix, Security Releases) to the Overarching Release Calendar, you create reliable structures for all participants

Over team boundaries, you are responsible for stakeholder and risk management: You coordinate cross-functional teams (SAP teams, development, infrastructure, security and business), moderate Release Readiness Reviews, conduct risk analysis and run the Change Advisory Board (CAB) as the central driver of the release processes

Through meaningful release reports, precise release notes, versioning and change documentation as well as KPIs (e.g. Deployment Frequency, Change-Failure Rate, Mean Time to Recover) you create transparency across all stakeholder levels

The strategic further development of global release management will make you active: you establish standard processes, role and responsibility models (RACI), drive compliance, security and audit requirements, ensure that governance requirements are implemented in the toolchains and processes and ensure continuous improvement through Lessons Learned and metrics

How to inspire us Its technical basis is a completed study of (economic) informatics, economic engineering or a comparable qualification. Cross-enterers with detectable practical experience in IT release management are explicitly welcome

Funded professional experience in the release management of complex IT landscapes brings you, as well as practical experience with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM and release tools

A solid understanding of ITIL, change and incident management as well as experience in implementing CABs, risk assessments and post implementation reviews

Knowledge of SAP-relevant tools (e.g. ChaRM, Conigma, SAP Solution Manager, SAP CTS+) are advantageous, but no exclusion criterion

Deteciable experience in building and scaling processes, governance frameworks and cross-functional cooperation (including moderation/facilitation) complete your profile

Negotiating German and English skills enable you to effectively communicate at all levels – including in international and diverse teams

What we inspire you Relevant working environment in a family business where diversity and equal opportunities are raised

Innovative working environment with state-of-the-art equipment and the latest technology that promotes efficiency and creativity
