Topic of work: from statistics to intelligence: comparison of forecast accuracy at Bizerba between traditional models and AI/ML approaches You research AI-based methods in sales forecast and evaluate relevant industry practices You analyze current global demand planning processes and assess the existing forecast accuracy You apply selected AI-based forecasting techniques to sales data including benchmarking of results You summarize the results and derivation of recommendations for action to integrate AI into global demand planning You develop recommendations for implementing AI-based forecast models

Students: enrolled student (m/w/d) in the field of Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or Supply Chain Management or a comparable discipline Know-how: Basic knowledge in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, first experiences with data analysis tools (e.g. SAP, Power Query, Excel), knowledge in demand planning tools and ERP systems, knowledge in process optimization and lean management Languages: good German language skills in word and writing Personality and working methods: analytical and problem-solving thinking, independent and structured working methods, team skills and openness for new methods and tools JOBV1_EN
