You accompany people with mental illnesses in their daily lives and strengthen their self-employment You support clients: to develop individual goals and achieve progress with them You are organising and co-ordinating aids so you can provide accurate support You promote social participation by planning and implementing activities together with those affected You regularly reflect on your work to develop yourself professionally and personally

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national. Technicians:in/operator:in You can prove German skills according to language level B2 You bring interest in mental illnesses and their impact on everyday life, so you can get involved in supporting those affected. You are empathic and can put yourself well into the lives of other people, allowing you to provide individual help You have a high communication capability to ensure that you are safe and value-assured in exchange with clients: You are ready to flexibly adjust to changing everyday situations and find creative solutions for challenges You like to work independently, with teamwork and collegial support also important to you Career prospects: If you have successfully passed the final exam, you have the opportunity to take over with numerous possibilities for development
