Lead System Engineer - System Management Infrastructure/ UNIX-Umfeld/ Netcool (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. Team 2 of the Automation & Engineering department within PoD2 is responsible for providing and operating a system management infrastructure. The team implements the service- and organization-specific systems management and security compliance processes in a highly automated manner, taking into account the entire lifecycle.

Analysis, evaluation, consulting and implementation of complex technical requirements for the central event management with IBM Netcool Omnibus within various IT architectures

Professional leadership in the Service Transition Phase within the Service ''central event management''

Conception, development and management of reusable interfaces, data flows and data contents in a heterogeneous process landscape and autonomous areas

Development and modelling of a cross-departmental system landscape with focus on automation and IT security compliance

Evaluation and introduction of new technological trends in cooperation with innovation and technology management

Successfully completed studies with focus on computer science

Min 7 years of relevant professional experience in the context of complex IT structures

Extensive experience in dealing with Linux, bash, perl, Python and sql are prerequisites

Knowledge about “IBM Netcool Operations Insight” aka “netcool / Omnibus” is preferred.

Very good communication capability and analytical capability
