We currently employ around 70 employees at the locations Ratingen, Leverkusen and Berlin. For our team in Ratingen we are looking for you as Senior Corporate Accountant (m/w/d). In this position, you take responsibility for the accounting supervision of several companies and are responsible for the production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB. In addition, you will participate in group reporting and consolidation processes, discuss balance sheet and tax issues, and are a key player for internal departments and external partners. Own responsibility You enter several companies and secure a proper accounting according to HGB You will first complete monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and IFRS reporting You conduct balance sheet and GuV analyses for the British corporate mother and you vote and monitor all balance sheet accounts Your duties also include the booking of bills, the execution of payment runs and the booking of wages and salaries. You perform intercompany agreements and document them In Corporate Accounting, you deal with balance sheet issues and participate in consolidation processes You enter into holding companies and participate in business start-ups, mergers, liquidations and restructuring. In cooperation with tax consultants, you prepare business tax and corporate tax returns as well as sales tax pre-registrations, process sales tax issues and support in audits You are a contact person for auditors and external service providers and assists in accounting issues You participate in digitization and optimization projects, create and maintain process documentation and support for ERP introductions or system changes

You have a successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting, finance or taxes and/or a commercial training with further education on accounting (IHK) At least five years of professional experience in accounting Ideally, you have already gained experience in corporate accounting or in the supervision of corporate structures In the creation of annual accounts according to HGB you are experienced and have very good HGB knowledge as well as a marked balance sheet security You also bring knowledge of IFRS; Experience in the consolidated environment and knowledge in the field of consolidation are advantageous You have a good knowledge of turnover tax law When handling MS Excel, you are very safe and have experience with ERP systems such as SAP FI, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, DATEV or comparable systems You have good English skills in word and writing An independent, analytical and structured way of working as well as a high sense of responsibility You convince by your own initiative and solution orientation as well as communication strength and a safe occurrence You can represent complex issues in a comprehensible way and convince by team and service orientation as well as high reliability
