The SOS Children's Village Sauerland in Lüdenscheid supports children, young people and their families in difficult locations as youth supporters. Our children's village family offers a loving place of life for boys and girls from the primary school age, in exceptional cases also younger. We address children who need a long-term perspective and benefit from stable relationships. The house of the children's village family is located on the grounds of the SOS Children's Village Sauerland in Lüdenscheid, district of Dickenberg, and can accommodate up to four children. As a pedagogical specialist, you will support up to four children and young people in our children's village family with specialist knowledge and empathy, promote the development of children and young people and work with education and assistance planning They create a structured daily routine and actively contribute to group life They work closely with schools, doctors, therapists as well as external helpers and parents They take over documentation, reporting and contribute to the further development of pedagogical work They are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and responsibilities

They have a degree as an educator or a curative nurse*in or a university degree of social education or educational sciences or a comparable educational qualification and have as much professional experience as possible They have the competence to integrate targeted promotion into everyday life They show commitment to the further development of our pedagogical work with the representatives They are team-ready and have an independent working method They are also ready to take over the occasionally occurring domestic activities They estimate the possibility of flexible working hours, including the takeover of night and weekend services Your handling of proximity and distance to the representatives is professional
