Project Manager Broadband / Fiber Optic (m/f/d)

With your use, you control and manage fiber-optic expansion projects from the tender to the acceptance and thus ensure a timely and economical implementation. Due to regular construction site visits and presence on site, you monitor the performance quality, even in difficult terrain. Your negotiation skills ensure that contract processing and coordination with contractors and service providers run smoothly. In close coordination with specialist authorities, association members and other stakeholders, you bring forward approval procedures and coordinate the necessary decisions. In the assisted development, ensure compliance with the funding conditions, ensure, by balancing with the funding management, inter alia, the continuous transparency in the project progress, maintain and update project data in the GIS and check the services provided by external planning offices. With your view for controlling, you will accompany project accounting, reporting and quality controls and thus contribute to a transparent project management.

You have completed their studies in civil engineering, industrial engineering with a focus on telecommunications/broadband, environmental, geoscience or comparable qualifications; Alternatively, you will bring a relevant vocational training (e.g. construction technicians) with several years of practical experience. Through your know-how in the procurement and contract law (VOB, VOL, HOAI), you control tender processes legally. Technical understanding of information and communication technologies as well as experience with broadband network architectures and GIS applications allow you to provide expertly sound project support. Your experience in project management and project accounting enables you to monitor time and cost plans and to make bills transparent. Through your interdisciplinary thinking and your solution-oriented way of working, you will find practical ways to implement complex projects and communicate them clearly to all involved.
