Technician / Engineer as Team Leader Design in Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

In this position, you take over the technical leadership of a specialized team of engineers and technical designers in a central area of the R&D department – either construction or development. The selection is made individually based on your expertise and interests – so design your leadership task with maximum effect. Control the structured prioritization of projects, orders and customer requests You targeted the technical output of the area along the corporate strategy – thus ensuring the implementation of market-oriented product solutions. You bear the overall technical responsibility for the development of innovative mechanical and electronic system solutions – ensuring that quality, dates and costs are consistent at all times. With your perspective for process potentials, you will develop the internal design and development processes – creating the basis for more efficiency, flexibility and scalability in the technical project business. As an internal hub, you coordinate cooperation with sales, purchasing, production and product management – and actively contribute to the shortening of time-to-market times through smooth processes. In addition, your strategic cooperation will help you shape the future orientation of the R&D sector – and will bring your own impulses to the technical development of the company.

You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, process engineering or a comparable technical field – or alternatively a further education on the technician in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or process engineering. You bring several years of experience in mechanical construction and have professional practice in technically challenging development projects. Leadership experience in small to medium teams is essential. Your competencies in project management are well-founded – ideally you have experience in planning, controlling and implementing technical projects. Knowledge in hybrid project management is advantageous. You have a deep technical understanding and pursue current technology trends – especially in the field of electromechanical product solutions – with interest and wide-sightedness. Communication strength, decision-making and a sovereign appearance even in challenging situations are your personal strengths – and enable you to perform technical teams in a targeted manner. Knowledge of electrical and pump technology is desirable and facilitates the rapid understanding of the product spectrum and the interdisciplinary requirements.
