Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that grow manuscript submissions, readership, and citations. Collaborate with publishers, Editors‐in‐Chief and editorial boards to shape strategic priorities. Track KPIs including marketing channel performance, submission trends, conversion rates, downloads, and marketing attribution. Analysis performance journal metrics to identify opportunities for growth. Support society relationships through reports, presentations, and marketing plans. Optimize author outreach content, onboarding materials, submission guides, onlyture emails, and workflow communications.
Experience in scholarly publishing (typically 3–5+ years). Ability to manage multiple journals and stakeholders in a matrix environment. Strong understanding of the academic publishing workflows, Open Access models. Excellent writing and communication skills tailored to scientific audiences. Proficiency with digital marketing tools (email automation, CRM, analytics, social academic networks). Budget management experience, allocating promo donation and monitoring ROI
