Number: MER0003VYW The software & application drive application department bundles the development responsibilities of the functional software and the application of rideability, operating strategy and transmission for current and future vehicle generations of all partially and fully electrified vehicles. We thus decisively shape the drive functions and the driving feeling of all drive variants of the Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Benz VANs. We accompany the development of our drives from initial commissioning to release. We are in constant exchange and contact with all specialist areas necessary for the development of a vehicle and control the development processes. As part of the further development of our development processes and methods, we are looking for dedicated personalities who enjoy organizational, communicative and management-oriented tasks. These challenges include: Like all the areas necessary for the development of a vehicle drive, you can interlock At workshops you will find exciting development-side challenges in an international environment with Participation in projects, acquisition of own subprojects and their active implementation Coordination of topics with different interfaces and follow-up of bodies Support in conceptual and optical processing of management documents Support in the production and processing of process models Support for technical content such as the characterization and objectiveing of vehicle behavior using KPIs Optionally also activities in programming such as the further development of tools, databases and web surfaces for displaying the KPIs The activity can begin from February 2026.

Degree course in the field of industrial engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure and versed handling of MS Office (focus PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Basic knowledge of Jira and Confluence are beneficial Basic knowledge of common programming languages is advantageous Basic knowledge of common drive concepts are advantageous Driving licence B High conceptual competences Very structured and targeted mode of operation High commitment, initiative and flexibility Embossed communication skills and team skills Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
