Together with colleagues, you have the responsibility to manage and expand the SAP infrastructure in use at the UFZ. You coordinate cooperation with our external partner in the context of infrastructure outsourcing and actively contribute to the migration process as well as future interfaces and working methods from the outset. You control the operation of the SAP on-premise system landscapes (including HANA data banks) in compliance with the requirements for operational safety and performance. You optimise the monitoring of the systems as well as the capacity planning and support stable operation by readiness to call about three to four weeks a year. You plan extensions and cyclical renewals of the existing solutions and adapt them to the needs of users with a broad view. Education: Successfully completed training or studies (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) with a focus on information technology. Expertise: Long-standing experience in SAP-based administration, design and operation of complex system landscapes. System and network administration: You have a well-founded knowledge of the administration of Linux servers as well as the relevant necessary technologies for the SAP basic operation.
