Children's Island / L'ile aux enfants Reinickendorf In our bilingual kita „Kinderinsel / L'ile aux enfants“ children are supervised both in German and in French. Up to 150 children aged one year to six years visit the facility. Hand in hand with the parents, our educators impart to the children an appreciative coexistence and educate young people to a lot of self-employment. Our Kita Children's Island offers a unique bilingual environment where children learn both German and French playfully. Through the immersion principle, children are immersed in both languages and develop intercultural skills at an early stage. Our cross-age offering is based on bilingual education, movement, language promotion, natural sciences and discovery. Completion as a state-approved educator*in or equivalent degree according to VOKitaFÖG §11 - This is the basis on which we build together.
