Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for you to expand our quality department at our site in Waltershausen in an indefinite fixed order with start as:

Specialist (gn) for quality assurance

Ensuring quality standards with minimal committee, waste and customer complaints at Waltershausen site Determining the causes of material waste and inefficiencies as well as cooperation with the quality team to reduce the reject rate at Waltershausen and Hamburg locations

Implementation of the audit plans provided

Close cooperation with production, R&E and engineering to develop, evaluate and prioritize practical and fast solutions

Analysis of quality-relevant production parameters and KPI ́s

Creation and maintenance of standard reports

Working with supplier complaints

Preparation and written documentation of standard work instructions (SOP) as well as preparation of training documents and implementation of training courses for shift managers

Ensuring compliance with established standards throughout the plant

Management of test equipment in cooperation with the quality team

Implementation of internal audits and support in external product audits

Master or technician training in a craft or technical profession or technical or craft vocational training

Multiannual and relevant professional experience in manufacturing and optimising production processes, ideally in the rubber industry

Hands-on-Mentiality at Shopfloor-Level, while at the same time strong communication capability at different stakeholders levels

Knowledge of quality methods such as “5 Why”, A3, Ishikawa, standard deviation or comparable methods are desirable

Knowledge in an ERP system, preferably SAP

Expertise in statistical analysis, in particular of close-to-use characteristics such as production and product parameters, reject rates, etc.

User knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI

German language skills and good English skills in word and writing

Readiness to travel about 10%, including occasional visits at the Hamburg production site
