As a laboratory manager*in test services furniture testing (w/m/d) you take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of a roughly 11-member team at the Nuremberg site. You organise the laboratory unit, coordinate the test procedures and ensure the timely execution of all the test activities occurring. In doing so, you are responsible for budget and cost center and manage the tasks in your area of responsibility economically and reliably. You continuously develop processes, drive standardization and automation and implement all QM-relevant requirements for maintaining laboratory accreditation according to DIN EN ISO 17025. You plan measures to increase efficiency, to process the tasks in a cost-effective manner and to optimize the checks and implement them together with your team. In addition, align test procedures with the respective test requirements, update quality work instructions and test bases, monitor the correct application of all methods and measurement systems and process complaints including error analysis and corrective measures.

Successfully completed technical studies or technical training with corresponding professional experience Professional experience related to furniture, for example in the furniture industry, furniture testing or quality assurance Multiannual experience in the leadership of employees and in their promotion and further development Knowledge of quality assurance, especially in the environment of DIN EN ISO 17025, as well as basic business knowledge related to cost control and budget planning German language skills in at least C1 level and good English skills
