asterdorf assistenz west – these are about 1000 employees *in 73 locations. Together we stand for empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as children and young people in Hamburg. Due to the diversity of our educational, nursing and commercial skills, we offer around 1,300 people outpatient assistance and special living forms – personalized and socially adapted to the needs of our clients. In our day works, around 300 clients work in office or garden care. We do what makes sense and strengthens education and participation. We're looking for you! For a strong and effective “WIR” and a modern assistance with heart and high professional expertise.

Assistance via video chat -. with digital video assistance we are testing an innovative support offer: people with assistance need receive individual support, orientation and exchange via video telephony – safe, low-swell and flexible.

As an employee *in the Digital Participation and Video Assistance project, you will get to know clients in different quarters, arrange individual dates for support via video chat and explore the possibilities offered by this communication path together with the clients.

Your duties

• They accompany clients via a data protection-proof video app and offer everyday practical, organizational and emotional support
• They promote self-employment, empowerment and participation in digital space
• You document the contacts, reflect experiences and introduce your observations into the evaluation of the project
• They work closely with the project management and actively shape the further development of the support offer

Your profile

• Complete training or studies in the social or educational field (e.g. medical education, social education, social work, etc.)
• Knowledge of digital media use and experience in dealing with digital technologies
• Joy of digital communication and openness for new technical formats
• High social competence and communication strength
• Empathic, structured and independent working
• Creativity to develop and adapt innovative solutions
• Experiences in the assistance of people with disabilities and the interest in innovative approaches of assistance and participation are already desirable
• The mission of our foundation reflects our Christian self-image and forms the basis of your action.

Duration: unlimited

Working hours: 20 hours/week
