IT Manager Architecture and Standards (m/w/d)

Digitization, networking, cyber – the Electronic Solutions division covers the entire chain of action in the system network from the sensors to networking platforms and soldiers to the (partial) automated connection of effectors. This is supplemented by solutions for cyber protection. Further fields of action of this Rheinmetall division are comprehensive training and simulation solutions, into which the company has over 40 years of experience. Operator solutions for aircraft are also included. The division is divided into the Business Units Air Defence & Radar Systems, Integrated Electronic Systems and Technical Publications. As an IT manager architecture and standards (m/w/d), you design and develop oversized corporate IT solutions and support their implementation and acceptance. They advise various departments and projects and, if necessary, create individual solutions for cross-company IT projects. In addition, as an IT manager (m/w/d), you run various IT bodies and corresponding meetings internally and externally. Your further tasks include: Developing and ensuring the functionality of all tools and systems in the area of responsibility Creation of group-wide specifications and guidelines (e.g. for service providers, users or administrators) and process descriptions Project management for IT projects in the area of responsibility and, where appropriate, Account Manager (m/w/d) Market analysis, monitoring with regard to innovative topics and pioneering trends in responsibility Control of service providers and ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs Network and Infrastructure: technical investigation, documentation, commissioning, monitoring of technical standards specified by DevOps/ SW Foundation; Technical support

Complete studies in computer science, business informatics or a similar field Long-standing professional experience in an IT expert position and experience in the creation of IT concepts Very good English skills in word and writing, in particular Communication and team skills as well as pronounced presentation strength Global readiness
