IT System Engineer – Operations & Support (m/f/d)

You continue to operate and develop our hybrid IT infrastructure. These include Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and local server and network systems. You are responsible for user and device management, security policies and lifecycle management. You set up clients (Windows, macOS) and jobs, address internal applications (e.g. ERP, HR and communication systems) and ensure their availability through regular maintenance, updates and monitoring. You support our employees in the 1st and 2nd level support – remote and on-site – and ensure fast, sustainable solutions for IT issues. You monitor networks, systems and security events, identify optimization potentials and implement improvements in the areas of firewall, VPN, SD-WAN and Endpoint Security. You ensure compliance with information security and data protection policies (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001), work closely with internal teams and external service providers and document configurations and processes.

Complete training or studies in the IT sector or a comparable qualification as well as several years of practical experience in IT operations and support. Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune and in the administration of Windows clients; Experience with macOS is of advantage. experience with network technologies and solutions of common manufacturers, ideally Fortinet; sound knowledge of the configuration and optimization of firewalls, VPN and SD-WAN structures. Knowledge in the operation and integration of enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, DMS), in user administration, group guidelines, conditional access and security & compliance features in M365. Embossed awareness of information security and data protection (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001), structured and self-responsible operation, team capacity as well as pleasure in service-oriented communication and technical problem solution.
