They are responsible for the development, planning and implementation of various projects for working up the National Socialist City History of Buxtehudes and for commemorating the victims of the Nazi persecution in close coordination with the direction of the City Archives. They carry out scientific research (especially the victims of Nazism). They support the management of the city archive. They're opening up archives. They work in public relations.

They have a successfully completed university degree, ideally with a historical focus. They have very good knowledge of the history of National Socialism and the culture of memory in Germany. They ideally bring together a multi-year professional experience in an archive or other historically working institution. You have good knowledge of archive and copyright. They bring a great interest in the history of Buxtehudes. They have paleographic knowledge of 19 and 20. Century. You have comprehensive and secure computer skills, ideally experience with the archinsys archive software. They bring organisational skills, ability to work independently, team skills, flexibility, and a careful and organised way of working. JOBV1_EN
