Number: MER00047W9 Be part of an innovative robotics project in production at Mercedes-Benz! Are you ready to put your passion for technology, robotics and digitalization into practice? In the “Robodog Bello” project, we offer you the opportunity to actively participate in a pioneering application for autonomous robotics in intralogistics and maintenance. About us: We are a central technology team at Mercedes-Benz and are engaged in the standardization, testing and implementation of innovative technologies in intralogistics. Our goal is a supply chain that is digital, automated, transparent and sustainable. We evaluate new technologies directly in the real production environment and develop scalable solutions for future applications. Your project – Robodog Bello: The Robodog Bello project focuses on the use of a four-legged robot that will be able to capture autonomous data in production and maintenance areas in the future. The aim is to test Bello as a flexible robotics platform and develop possible applications for the supply chain and intralogistics. You support us in the preparation and implementation of pilot projects, in the analysis of technical and organizational requirements, in the documentation of results and in the coordination with internal departments and external partners. Get exciting insights into topics such as mobile robotics, automation, digital process support, IT governance, security and data-based applications in the production environment. Activities in the internship - Integration of mobile robotics in production supply: Conceptual and operational support in the integration of autonomous robotics solutions into existing intralogistics and IT system landscapes Analysis of governance, cybersecurity and architecture requirements for the productive use of mobile robotics systems Assessment of the overriding control system ORBIT with respect to its congruence with existing control and fleet management concepts Developing recommendations for action to harmonise future control architectures Support for technology and innovation management in the introduction of new automation solutions in the production environment Your internship can start from November 2026.
