The oldest and largest university in Saxony-Anhalts was founded in 1817 from the merger of the universities in Wittenberg (1502) and Hall (1694). Today she has 340 professors and 20,000 students. Depending on the transfer of tasks and the fulfilment of the personal requirements, the remuneration is up to the remuneration group A1 TV doctors. Work tasks:

• Medical activities in the medical care of the akutgeriatric station
• Supply of patients in the acute complex treatment
• Collection and documentation of medical findings, geriatric assessments
• Differential diagnostic classification of clinical findings
• Participation in interprofessional clinical team meetings
• Participation in the hospital care system (professional service and business service)
• Working in a multi-professional team of doctors
• Participation in the teaching obligations of the clinic and scientific projects

Requirements:

• Completed academic studies (human medicine) and approval as a doctor
• Enthusiasm for working with geriatric patients
• Willingness to actively support research projects (the parallel implementation of a doctorate is possible and supported)
• readiness to actively participate in teaching, in particular on station
• Flexibility, team spirit, high sense of responsibility
• independent and targeted working style
• German language skills in C1 level, good English skills
• Secure handling of MS Office software
• Interest in clinical care research
