As a technical editor and UX Writer for Metrology Software (m/w/x), you are responsible for the user-centric creation and further development of software documentation and UX texts for our Metrology software in an international, agile environment.

Your role Creation and maintenance of direct aids and UX texts for our Metrology software in German and English

Continuous optimization of existing documentation along the release cycle

Creation of target group-oriented text, image and video material

Close cooperation with agile development teams

Active participation and further development of editorial processes, including AI-based tools

Coordination with international ZEISS locations for the localization of software and documentation

Complete study in the field of technical communication or a comparable subject

Multiannual experience in technical software documentation, ideally with XML-based editorial systems

Basic understanding for measuring technology or the ability to quickly work into complex technical domains

Embossed ability to prepare complex content structured, understandable and user-centred

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
