Number: MER0003VQV The communication department of Mercedes-Benz Vans is responsible as part of the communication area of Mercedes-Benz Group AG for all VAN works, products and future technologies as well as for all business, brand and sustainability topics relating to the business field. We are the organizers of media events, central contact persons for journalists and inform our employees. With the successful application to this site, you will strengthen the “Product Communication” team, in whose hands the global external communication lies for all Mercedes-Benz Vans’ market-ready vehicles. Among other things: the Marco Polo Camperfamilie, the large-scale limousine V-Class, or the commercial transporters (e)Sprinter and (e)Vito. From your first internship week, we will take you fully into our work. You also take your own projects. These are your primary tasks: Working in creating press material and playing different external communication channels (focus: press communication and social media) Content preparation of press events and appointments and, if necessary, on site Support for planning and procurement of press vehicles Answering international journalist requests Support in the development and coordination of global communication strategies for our products Tracking and evaluating Press Reporting It is possible to sniff into the task set of neighboring teams and, for example, to gain experience in event organization or employee communication. The activity can begin from mid-March 2026.

Course in Communications/Economics, PR, Journalism, Business/Economics, Humanities/Social Sciences or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing, other languages of advantage Secure handling of MS Office and digital media Commitment, team capacity, analytical thinking, strategic working, very good communicative and organizational skills, high level of self-employment and self-initiative Possible practical experience, valid driving licence of class B (carf) Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
