Cloud Service and Architecture Manager

Cloud service management with the support of team management in managing and developing the cloud service portfolio (compound, storage, container and SaaS services) Provider and contract management including the preparation of the provider selection and support in managing cloud and IT service providers and monitoring the agreed services Performance and cost management with ensuring compliance with established standards in terms of availability, security, service quality and cost-effectiveness Risk management by identifying and evaluating risks related to cloud services and providers (e.g. downtime, vulnerabilities, compliance risks) and supporting team management in their control Cloud architecture with development and further development of the overall architecture of a multi-cloud environment taking into account security requirements (e.g. BSI C5, IT basic protection), scalability and efficiency Consulting and documentation on the strategic use of cloud technologies as well as the creation of technical documentation, operating concepts and safety guidelines close cooperation with the Kubernetes Infrastructure Engineer to ensure stable operation and further development of cloud services

completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics (FH Diploma, Bachelor) or a comparable degree course with a pronounced IT reference Multiannual relevant professional experience in cloud management or cloud operations For foreign educational qualifications, we need proof of equivalence with a German degree. Knowledge and experience managing cloud services and managing cloud infrastructures, ideally in a multi-cloud environment in provider and contract management in the cloud environment in architecture standards, IT security requirements and cost management in the cloud environment implementing DevOps practices and the integration of cloud services into the IT strategy of a company or an authority Language knowledge (CEFR level): German and English at least C1 Remarkable Experience in supporting team management in risk management or in independent team management Experience in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams certified cloud knowledge (e.g. CCSK, CCSP and AWS, Azure etc.) Qualifications in the field of IT security (e.g. IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker) Personal competencies Presentation capability with comprehensible and precise expression Systematic-analytical thinking capacity as well as the ability to disassemble problems and processes into their components Task and project planning competence with priority setting according to importance and urgency Negotiating skills with focus on specific objectives Service orientation to represent the interests of the institute to internal and external employees cooperation and team capacity as well as experience in joint solution development; Cooperative management with regular and efficient team meetings is desirable Information competence with comprehensible, timely and demand-oriented disclosure of information Other conditions Willingness to participate in an extended safety review pursuant to Section 9 of the Security Audit Act (SÜG) and its positive conclusion
