Senior IT-Architekt Rz-LAN - DevSecOps (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Senior IT-Architekt Rz-LAN - DevSecOps (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. We, the Service Line NETWORK, ensure communication between all our customers and ourselves. We are an important and large area of expertise within the BWI and are structured in services (LAN, DCN, WAN, Security and WLAN). In our service development department, we have full responsibility for how these services are designed and developed. Strategically important decisions for the NETWORK are elaborated here. Here we choose hard and software, develop and test designs, develop improvements of the existing network and continue to build up to meet the challenges of tomorrow with innovative technologies.

Responsible for the creation of technical concepts, including design specifications, implementation concepts, security concepts and migration concepts for the service data center LAN taking into account the technological trends

Requirement and architecture consulting of our internal and external customers as well as participation in the development of cross-service solutions

View of the service in terms of automation and reporting, including analysis for identifying potential for improvement

Participation in budget determination incl. Forecast, cost calculation, cost transparency and production of benchmark capability

Participation in tenders and award procedures

Selection of required hardware for a customer solution developed by them and subsequent establishment of a test laboratory for testing and solution realisation at the customer

Complete university studies in the field of network technology or comparable

At least 4 years of relevant professional experience and very good knowledge in the Datacenter area with Cisco and cloud solutions

Very good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (iaC): Automation of Networks & Systems (with Ansible & Terraform) Good knowledge of Security & Compliance: Integration of DevSecOps principles Multiannual experience in API-Driven Infrastructure: Automation & management of networks via API interfaces

Experiences in the field of Linux Administration & Automation

ITIL certification as well as experience in the Bundeswehr- and Authorities (requestable)

Impressed capacity for analytical thinking, high decision-making and implementation strength combined with a strong sense of responsibility and very good team and communication skills German language skills in word and writing
